UPVC solvent weld plain equal tee / female thread equal tee
This upvc solvent weld equal tee is plain on all sides while the threaded female tee variant is threaded on one opening while the others are plain leaving them to be solvent welded or glued.
Tees can connect pipes of different diameters – which the tee must match, this product is an equal tee which does not connect pipes of different diameters; or they can change the direction of a pipe run, or both.
Plain upvc equal tees need to be glued or solvent welded at all joints whereas the female threaded equal tee will need glue or solvent weld only for the channel part of the tee, the branch has female thread so it can have other piping screwed into it.
