Sanspar Butterfly Valves SS304 Poly Liner 250mm
DESCRIPTION
Uni-Flo cartridge design keeps the elastomer from shifting during installation, lowers seating and unseating torques, reduces seal fatigue, and minimizes seat swell. Crafted from premium materials, this valve offers superior durability, leak-proof performance, and ease of operation. The lug design is suitable for BS4504 T10/T16 and BS10 TD up to DN450. Contact Sanspar for BS10 TD application for DN500 to DN700.

Data‐sheet from SANSPAR / Uni-Flo:
-
They list “Wafer Butterfly Valves – Polyurethane Liner, PN 16”.
-
These valves are rated PN16 (≈16 bar nominal)
-
The body is typically cast iron or ductile iron for the wafer type, with a stainless steel disc option (e.g., SS304) and a liner/seat made of polyurethane elastomer or other elastomeric liner. From one description: “Polyurethane lined Butterfly Valves are mainly used owing to the liner being more resistant to abrasive wear, and in conjunction with the stainless-steel disc can be used on a variety of applications.”
-
The liner (seat) design uses a “cartridge seat” concept (an elastomer bonded to a hard backing) to reduce seat shift, seat fatigue, lower torque and improve installation reliability.
-
Permitted temperature range: for the polyurethane liner version < ~100 °C (as listed: “Liner Options: Polyurethane < 100 °C (Standard)”).
-
Suitability: The valve is described as suitable for fresh water, sewage, sea water, air, oils, acids, alkalis, salts, etc. (for the resilient‐seated butterfly version)
