This valve comes in a flanged and socketed end configuration with a handwheel attachment.
This is a resilient seal gate valve according to the SABS 664 standard. These valves are fusion Bonded Epoxy Powder Coated – coloured Blue.
Please note DN (Diameter Nominal) measurements are according to EN 10255 standards. The valve comes without a handwheel which needs to be acquired separately.
A gate valve (sometimes called sluice valve), is a type of valve that opens by lifting the gate out the way of the fluid. Gate valves hardly restrict the flow of fluid when the gate is fully opened. The gate faces can be parallel but are most commonly are wedge-shaped.
