SuperPump may assist customers with product selection, but information supplied by our personnel does not constitute a professional engineering design unless a formal engineering service has been specifically contracted.
For technical pump selection, customers should provide accurate information regarding the application, including where applicable:
- required flow rate;
- required head or pressure;
- pipe diameter and length;
- suction conditions;
- water quality;
- liquid temperature;
- electrical supply;
- operating hours;
- installation depth;
- borehole information;
- control requirements; and
- other relevant site conditions.
Incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer may result in an unsuitable product selection.
- PRICES
All prices displayed on the online shop are in South African Rand (ZAR).
Unless otherwise stated, displayed prices include VAT.
Prices may change from time to time.
SuperPump reserves the right to correct pricing errors, typographical errors or incorrect product information.
If an obvious pricing error occurs, SuperPump may contact the customer before processing the order.
Where an order has been placed at an incorrect price due to an obvious error, SuperPump may cancel the affected order and refund any amount already paid for the affected product.
- PLACING AN ORDER

Where a customer requests a voluntary return that is not required by law, SuperPump may accept or decline the request at its discretion.
Voluntary returns may be subject to the following requirements:
- the product must be unused;
- the product must be in saleable condition;
- the product must be returned in its original packaging where reasonably possible;
- all accessories, manuals and components must be included;
- the product must not have been installed or connected;
- the product must not have been modified;
- the product must not show signs of use or damage; and
- the product must not be a special-order, customised or non-returnable product.
Where a voluntary return is accepted, reasonable return or handling costs may apply where permitted by law.
- SPECIAL-ORDER AND CUSTOM PRODUCTS
Certain products are ordered specifically for a customer or manufactured/configured to the customer’s requirements.
These may include:
- specially configured pumps;
- non-standard motors;
- custom control panels;
- specially manufactured equipment;
- customised assemblies;
- cut-to-length products;
- products sourced specifically for a customer; and
- other products that cannot reasonably be returned to normal stock.
Such products may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return where permitted by law.
This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights regarding defective or non-conforming goods.
- INSTALLED PRODUCTS
Products that have been installed, connected, commissioned, modified or used may not qualify for a voluntary change-of-mind return.
Customers should confirm product suitability before installation.
If a product is suspected to be defective, do not continue operating the product where doing so could cause further damage.
- RETURN AUTHORISATION
Customers must contact SuperPump before sending goods back.
A return authorisation or written instruction may be required.
Goods returned without sufficient information may experience delays while the order and return are identified.
- RETURN SHIPPING
Where SuperPump is responsible for the incorrect, damaged or defective supply, SuperPump will determine the appropriate return or collection arrangement.
Where a return is requested for reasons that are not the responsibility of SuperPump, the customer may be responsible for reasonable return transportation costs, subject to applicable law.
Customers should not send expensive or oversized products without first receiving return instructions from SuperPump.
- REFUNDS
Approved refunds will generally be processed to the original payment method where reasonably possible.
The time taken for the refund to reflect in the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

- PRODUCT EXCHANGE

If the replacement product has a lower price, the applicable difference may be refunded or credited.
- CREDIT

- STOCK AVAILABILITY

An online order therefore does not necessarily mean that the product is immediately available for dispatch.
SuperPump may contact the customer if additional lead time is required.
- HEAVY, LARGE OR SPECIALISED PRODUCTS

- DELIVERY TO REMOTE AREAS
Additional charges or longer delivery times may apply to remote areas.
SuperPump may use a regional depot, specialised transport provider or other delivery arrangement for remote locations.
- DELIVERY INSPECTION
Customers should inspect the packaging and goods when received.
Where goods or packaging appear damaged:
- photograph the packaging before opening where possible;
- photograph the damaged goods;
- record the damage on the delivery documentation where possible; and
- notify SuperPump as soon as reasonably possible.
Customers should retain packaging until the matter has been resolved.
- PARTIAL DELIVERIES
Where an order contains products with different availability dates, SuperPump may make partial deliveries.
Additional delivery arrangements may be discussed with the customer where appropriate.
- DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
If delivery cannot be completed because nobody is available, the delivery address is inaccessible or the customer cannot be contacted, additional delivery charges may apply where permitted.
- COLLECTION
Where collection from a SuperPump branch has been agreed, the customer will be notified when the goods are ready.
The customer should bring appropriate identification and order information when collecting goods.
Certain products may require suitable vehicles or equipment for safe collection.
- RISK AND TRANSPORT
Risk associated with transportation will be dealt with in accordance with the applicable sales agreement and South African law.
Where SuperPump arranges delivery through a third-party courier or transport provider, SuperPump may provide the customer with tracking or transport information where available.
- INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Where a manufacturer provides a longer warranty than the standard SuperPump warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty may apply.

- WHAT IS COVERED
Subject to the applicable warranty, warranty claims may cover defects in:
- materials;
- manufacturing;
- workmanship; or
- components,
where the defect falls within the applicable warranty conditions.
- WHAT IS NOT NORMALLY COVERED
Unless required otherwise by law, warranty claims may be rejected where failure or damage is caused by:
- incorrect installation;
- incorrect electrical voltage;
- phase loss;
- incorrect phase rotation;
- voltage fluctuations;
- incorrect pump selection;
- operation outside the manufacturer’s specified operating range;
- dry running;
- cavitation;
- excessive starts and stops;
- inadequate cooling;
- incorrect lubrication;
- incorrect maintenance;
- blocked or restricted pipework;
- operation with unsuitable fluids;
- sand or abrasive materials outside specified limits;
- corrosion;
- chemical attack;
- lightning;
- surge damage;
- flooding of electrical components;
- physical impact;
- misuse;
- negligence;
- unauthorised modification;
- use of non-approved components;
- normal wear and tear; or
- installation or operation contrary to manufacturer instructions.
- ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
Electrical products must be installed by suitably qualified persons where required by law.
Warranty claims relating to motors, pumps, VSDs, control panels, electrical components and similar equipment may require technical inspection.
Customers may be required to provide:
- installation information;
- electrical supply information;
- photographs;
- fault codes;
- test results;
- commissioning records; and/or
- other technical information.
- PUMPS AND MOTORS
For pump and motor warranty claims, SuperPump may require information such as:
- pump model;
- motor model;
- serial number;
- installation date;
- operating conditions;
- flow rate;
- pressure/head;
- electrical measurements;
- installation depth;
- control method;
- photographs; and
- maintenance records where applicable.
- WARRANTY ASSESSMENT
A product may need to be returned to SuperPump, the manufacturer or an authorised service centre for inspection.
A warranty claim is not automatically accepted merely because a product has failed.
The cause of failure may need to be established before the warranty remedy is determined.
- WARRANTY REMEDIES
Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, the remedy may include:

- replacement of defective components;

- another remedy available under the applicable warranty and law.
